Sverok and Attention: Our report on gaming and NDDs is now available in English
Nyheter
We are proud to release ”More than just games”, our report with the National Association Attention, now available as a condensed English edition. “More than just games” is part of the project “Gaming on the spectrum” which is funded by the Swedish Inheritance Fund. The report gives young people with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) an opportunity to make themselves heard and highlights the vital role of gaming for this group.
For many, gaming provides emotional recovery, social belonging, and a community where they feel accepted, sometimes their only one. “More than just games” also highlights parental engagement as a key factor in reducing online risk, and calls on policymakers to recognize gaming as one of today’s most significant cultural arenas for young people.
The English version of this report is a condensed translation. The full report is available in Swedish below.
